911 Rescue Care

Workforce and Readiness

Learning, exercises and pathways into emergency service.

Distinct pathways into service

The workforce vision includes pilots, physicians, nurses, paramedics, communications personnel, mechanics and logistics teams. Each pathway should identify its qualifications, training costs, responsible employer and scope of practice.

Exercises that improve coordination

Shared exercises would examine mass casualty arrivals, communication failure, maternal transfer and continuity after handover. The purpose is to identify corrective actions and assign responsibility for completing them.

Learning and qualification

FEMA learning resources are linked in the resource directory. Course completion, professional licensure, clinical privileges and operational qualification remain separate records. The website does not award credentials or approve personnel for deployment.
