911 Rescue Care

Communication and Access

Clear pathways between communities and qualified providers.

Begin with the existing care network

The proposed regional approach starts with local institutions and the services already available. A provider directory would record capabilities, hours, referral criteria, contact routes and review dates.

Make handover a shared responsibility

The institutional model connects the sending provider, the transport operator and the receiving facility. Agreements would identify clinical authority, acceptance, communication, costs and responsibility when circumstances change.

Plan for disruption

Readiness exercises would address unavailable communication, weather disruption and a loss of receiving capacity. This website provides program information and external learning resources; it does not receive or dispatch emergency requests.
